We HEART Chanel Iman. She’s just downright adorable!
Originally born in Atlanta, Georgia, Chanel Iman Robinson (known in the industry as Chanel Iman), was raised in Los Angeles where her mother, of African-American and Korean decent, owns and manages “The Red Bag Boutique.” Chanel began her modeling career at an early age. She flew to New York in 2006 and won third place in Ford’s Supermodel of the World contest when she was just 12 years old. She was soon, signed with the prestigious agency. Having already been one of less than five Black models on the cover of Vogue, Chanel is said to have dreamt of modeling all of her life. She is definitely great at what she does and her look is ridiculously haute!
Having walked for fashion houses such as Balenciaga, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Givenchy, D & G, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, Hermes, Dior, Michael Kors, DVS, Vera Wang and so many more, 20 year old Chanel Iman still makes time to help those in need in her community. Now that’s a model citizen!
Check her out in Rosa Cha’s Spring 2011 Collection
