Kenzo’s “Mint Chocolate” Campaign

Kenzo’s spring/summer 2012 fashion campaign features three gorgeous models of color, Alek Wek, Ajak Deng, and Nairoby Matos, in a colorful editorial just in time for Black History Month! We Luv!
ALEK WEK
Born in Sudan, Alek left in 1991 to escape the civil war ravaging her country. Arriving in London at age 14, she was discovered soon after by a model scout in a South London market. Since 2002, she’s been an advisor to the US Committe for Refugess. Published ALEK: From Sudanese refugee to International Supermodel in 2008. In the US, tours high schools lecturing to students. AJAK DENG
Ajak Deng, 19, was one of the breakout stars of the SS10 Paris shows, booking Chloe, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Lanvin. An array of editorials has followed — most notably, Interview with Mikael Jansson and V with Amy Troost. Look out for Ajak in the upcoming Fall 2010 Topshop campaign shot by Josh Olins. Born in the Sudan, Ajak now calls Melbourne, Australia home. (from IMG Models newsletter, July 2010)
NAIROBY MATOS
Born in Villa Mella, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Nairoby is new on the scene; recently signed to Ossygeno Model Management (Mother Agency) and IMG Worldwide. So new, we have limited info on this beauty. With her endless leg game, almond eyes, and cheekbones to die for, she is simply gorg!
Look our for all three ladies in the runways in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week this week.
