Polish me off!!

I absolutely adore nail varnish! I’m addicted to painting my nails (I do it at least 3 times a week) and buying nail polish. I buy so many I have a clear out every few months and throw old ones out to make space for new ones! I love them all, bright dark, monochrome, metallic… You name it I’ll try it (or already have).

Here are just a few of my nail varnishes (the Barry M set, this picture is a few months old)

I love Barry M nail varnish. It’s cheap and good quality, plus they have so many fun shades! Other brands I love are O.P.I (the website is T.D.F.) and Essie! All three of these brands have amazing colours to choose from!

So obviously, someone who loves nail varnishes would be interested in what’s going to be hot for nails this season.

In doing my “research” it looks like this year’s colour trends for S/S are bright, bold and vibrant!!!! Patterned nails along with metallics, blues, nudes and neon’s are in full force along with staples like red (I adore a dark blood red shade by Maxfactor called “Red Passion” (see pic below) and black, one of my personal favorites!

I am still a BIG fan of matte nail varnish… its sol simple but looks different and has a bit of an edge!

(Ice blue is also set to be big this season, had mine on deck since last summer!! I’m ready!! lol)

As for length, I say go for whatever makes you comfortable. I tend to wear mine short and squared but I love longer more claw like nails a la` Rhianna too!

This, hasn’t even touched the surface of what you can do with your nails this season. There’s so much to choose from so whatever you do with your nails this spring/summer,
